The highlight of my Geneva happened before the show even opened. The day before the first press day, an electric blue McLaren P1 parked outside my central Geneva hotel. Then another P1 (in grey metallic) joined it.
Jaguar are ready to start road testing the C-X75 hybrid supercar next month with a 2014 launch target. Jaguar Land Rover are continuing to move strongly forward with new cars like the 2013 Range Rover, Range Rover Evoque and XF Sportbrake. But for a car maker with aspirations of being one of the leading luxury and performance marques in the world, a halo supercar is a must and Jaguar are looking to the C-X75 hybrid supercar to be their Ferrari F70 or Porsche 918 Spyder.
Gasoline costs are hovering near $4 a gallon this week, and drivers hitting the highway for the holiday weekend are looking for ways to save. In preparation for Memorial Day, the Consumer Federation of America has released a list of tips that will help you pinch pennies at the pump.
